 REJECTION OF APPLICATION BY THE EMAIL COMMUNICATION

It is painful to note that large number of applications for Financial Assistance for education from the O.Rs. and their Widows are being rejected by KSB for not rectifying their observations within the stipulated period.

 It is with great difficulty, the ESM and the Widows apply for this assistance through Private Browsing centers.  Most of them do not have email access.  They have to depend on the browsing centers to know the status of the application.  The applicants are not aware of the email IDs created by the browsing centers.  Therefore, any observations sent by KSB to their Email IDs goes unnoticed.  By the time the SMS alerts are received, the system rejects the application thus denying the chance to rectify.

 We have come across a number of cases where emails are sent in advance and the SMS alert is sent after rejecting the application.  Since most of the rural people do not have email access, there is no use of sending the observation by email.  Instead, it would be better to SMS alert and Phone call will help a lot to rectify the observations.

It may please noted by the KSB Authorities that 60% of the O.Rs and 80% of their Widows are not aware of the online application procedure.  They depend on the private browsing centers.  Therefore, rejecting their application on the basis of the email communication to an illiterate applicant is not justified.  The KSB should send all the observations by SMS or by a Phone Call. 

A large number of O.Rs and their Widows do not apply for this financial assistance, because of the difficulties involved in on line submission. 

In view of the above, We as an Ex-servicemen Welfare Trust, request the KSB authorities to reconsider their decision and allow them one more chance to rectify the observations and enable them to get the financial assistance.  Please consider sympathetically. 

Note: One Nk.A.Seenivasagan died while in service.  His wife will not be having any discharge book.  The KSB Official Mr.Deewan Singh on 21.3.2018 .in his observation, asked the widow to upload the discharge book. This sort of observations are irrelevent.  Finally the application has been rejected. Application No.17WP050357.

The SMS alert was sent after rejection by the system.  Likewise there are many cases.

PLEASE MAKE THE ONLINE APPLICATION MORE EFFECTIVE SO THAT MAXIMMUM  NUMBER OF ORs AND THEIR FAMILIES GET THE BENEFITS.
