PLATINUM GRANT FOR RETIRED ARMY OFFICERS

Army H.Q. Letter No.B/48002/AG/CWS Dt.20.09.1998.

This is to remind that the retired Army officers who complete 75 years of age are eligible for the grant of Platinum grant from out of “Army Officers’ benevolent Fund”.

Retired officers who crossed 75 years may apply in a plain paper giving their date of birth, date of commission and date of retirement to Army H.Q. AG’s (Br) (Dy. Director CWS)

The sliders scale for platinum grant is below

Below 5 yrs. Of commissioned service - Nil
5 to below 10 years of commissioned service - Rs.12,500/-
10 yrs. To before 15 yrs. Of commissioned service - Rs.25,000/-
15 yrs. To below 20 yrs. Of commissioned service - Rs.38,000/-
20 yrs. Or more commissioned service - Rs.50,000/-
