Following the announcement of OROP, 7CPC and
Pronouncement of various Pension related Judicial pronouncements, the need for
the Revision of Defence pension has become more important. Unfortunately, the CDA(P) Allahabad, the Apex
Pension Sanctioning Body for the defence pensioners is unable to provide
up-to-date Revised PPO to each and every body.
Despite all shortcomings, the PDAs continue to disburse the
monthly pensions for more than 25 lakh defence pensioners and family pensioners
without delay. No doubt, it is a great
achievement.
The question is ‘are they paying the correct rate of
pension’ to all ? The answer is No. This is the problem facing all the Defence
pensioners and family pensioners all over India.
The only solution is to Educate the Individual pensioners through various ways and make them
to claim to the PDAs. Keeping this in
mind, the Exwel Trust is trying various ways through Internet.
Every Pensioner and Family Pensioner should have the
following information and documents in hand to claim.

Ordinary family pension, Spl.

The Family pensioners should know

date of birth.
14. Date
of death of Husband.
15. Present
pension.
16. Amount
of arrears any received after the death of her husband.
Whenever the pensioners approach anybody to know their
pension, the above information must be given through Email or SMS.
