ISSUE OF TEMPORARY SLIP FOR 32 KB CARD HOLDERS WHILE RENEWING

 Union Cabinet has approved the grant of medical facilities under Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) to World War-II Veterans, Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs), Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) and pre-mature retirees.

THE VALIDITY OF 32 KB ECHS CARD

The Validity of the 32 kb ECHS Card is closing on 31.12.2020.  The renewal process of this card takes more than six months.  Under the circumstances, it is better to issue Temporary Slip immediately on submitting the 32 kb card renewal application.  Will the ECHS higher authorities take up this matter?  Kindly take up this matter. At present the Temporary slip is being issued after verification by the record office.

Some Record offices take more time for verification, as a result the applicants have to wait long time.

The ECHS Central Organisation may kindly take up the issue and arrange to issue temporary slip immediately after applying.
