FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR EDUCATION OF CHILDREN/WIDOWS OF ESM

     This scheme provides financial assistance to ESM and their widows for helping them in educating their wards with a monthly grant of Rs.1000 per month per child (for max two children) upto graduation and also for widows to pursue P.G Course.

     The grant is paid to the previous academic year payable in one instalment in a financial year.  This is applicable for classes 1 to 12 of school and under graduate classes of a degree college.  This grant is also admissible to widows who wish to pursue 2 years PG course.  This grant is not applicable for professional or technical courses.

ELIGIBILITY

1. Must be exserviceman/widow/orphan.

2. Should be of the rank of Hav and below equivalent in Navy and Air force.

3. Child should have passed the previous class.

4. ZSB should recommend.

5. Should not be drawing any grant from other sources.

DOCUMENTS TO BE UPLOADED

1. Discharge book.

2. ESM/Widow ID card.

3. Mark sheet.

4. Part II order/ should have entry in the discharge book.

5. Self certificate.

6. Bank account details with pass book.

7. Aadhaar card.

SUBMIT THE APPLICATION IN THE MONTH OF MAY  EVERY YEAR.
