AT PRESENT AADHAAR IS NECESSARY FOR THE FOLLOWING SERVICES
1.
If your Bank account is not linked with your
Aadhaar, you cannot operate your bank account from March, 2018.
2.
If your PAN number is not linked with Aadhaar
number, your PAN will be cancelled, you cannot file Income Tax return, and you
cannot do any large value bank transaction.
3.
You will not get gas subsidy without linking
your Aadhaar with Gas connection number.
4.
You cannot get passport without Aadhaar card.
5.
You must have Aadhaar for your Provident Fund
account and EPF pension.
6.
All pensioners must link their Aadhaar with
their pension accounts.
7.
You must have Aadhar Card for Ration Card.
8.
You and your children must have Aadhar card for
Government scholarships.
9.
All farmers must have Aadhaar card for getting
subsidy.
10. All
govt. health card holder must have Aadhaar Card.
11. You
must have Aadhar card for booking train ticket.
12. You
must have Aadhaar card for getting Maternity benefits.
13. Your
children must have Aadhaar card for Mid day meal.
14. All
primary school students also must have Aadhaar by 31 Dec 2017.
15. Now you cannot open bank account with Aadhaar Card.
Many more services will be linked with Aadhar Card in
future. Therefore, you must have Aadhaar
Card. It is understood many insurance
companies and mutual fund companies are sending SMS saying that they will not
pay maturity benefits without Aadhaar linking.
While this issue is pending with the Supreme Court,
people are harassed by various agencies.
This is highly irregular. Hope the Supreme Court gives favorable verdict
for the people.
If you are having Smart Phone, you can install mAadhaar
App and use it for locking and unlocking your Aadhaar biometric. This is a security feature recently
introduced. Also you can use mAadhaar
app while travelling in train and entering Airport etc to prove your identity.
Your must keep your Smart Phone safe hereafter. Please do not give it to your children or
others. This is very important.
