The CDA Circular No.585 is addressed to the Record offices and PAOs to prepare Concordance tables for revision of pension as per 7 CPC to the Armed forces pensioners.

The record offices and PAOs are to help to  prepare Concordance tables as per instructions in Para 3 of the Cir.585.  The contents of Para 3 is as follows:-

“The revised pension/family pension of all Armed Forces personnel who retired/died prior to 01.01.2016 shall be revised by notionally fixing their pay in the pay matrix recommended by the 7 CPC in the level corresponding to the pay in the pay scale/pay band and grade pay at which they retired/died.  This will be done by notional pay fixation under each intervening Pay Commission based on the formula for revision of pay.  The revised rates of MSP, NPA where applicable and X group pay and classification allowance for JCOs/Ors if applicable notified in terms of 7 CPC orders shall also be added to the amount of pay notionally arrived at under the 7 CPC pay matrix and shall be termed as notional reckonable emoluments as on 1.1.2016.

It is a long process. Therefore we have to wait for preparation of concordance tables.  If we get the tables released before Diwali it will be good.
