APPOINTMENT OF EX-ARMY PERSONNEL IN THE BD&D SQUADS OF

TAMILNADU POLICE ON CONTRACT BASIS.

It is proposed to select ex-army personnel for the post of Inspectors/SIs/HCs on contract basis in the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squads of Tamil Nadu Police. 

Terms and conditions:-

a) Age                                      : Not exceeding 55 years.

b) Educational Qualification       : SSLC or X Standard. Must have BD&D certificate

                                                  issued by the NSG Trg. Centre, Manesar/BD

                                                  Certificate issued by the Army BD /B.C.A.S/other

                                                  Special Forces.

c) Minimum service in Army      : 10 years.

d) Knowledge/Experience         : Sound knowledge and practical experience in

                                                              BD&D Unit.

Note:Already some Ex-Army personnel have been appointed as Inspectors, Sub-inspectors and Head Constables.  (JCOs are given Inspector Rank in the Pay Band Rs.9300 + Grade Pay etc. & ORs are given Headconstable ranks.) Still there are vacancies available.  Eligible candidates may apply immediately.
