RATIONALIZATION OF CASUALTY PENSIONARY AWARDS FOR THE ARMED FORCES PENSIONERS. SPECIAL BENEFITS IN CASES OF DEATH AND DISABILITY IN SERVICE PRIOR TO 01.01.2006.
ORDERS ISSUED
The long awaited letter on modified parity for casualty awards has finally been issued. The rates are based on 6th CPC scales. The following pensions will be further revised based on this order w.e.f. 01.01.2006.
Special Family Pension
Liberalized Family Pension
Disability Element.
War Injury Element.
Since it is a Policy letter from MOD, the Pension Disbursing Banks may wait for the implementation instructions from the CDA(P) Allahabad. (Even though the letter says that the banks can pay, but we know that the Banks will not respond) Therefore, the affected pensioners will have to wait some more days. Meanwhile ask your associations to work out the arrears and be ready to fight with the PDAs once again. (the families of the lower ranks, Sep, Naiks, Havildars and equivalent ranks in the other services who are drawing Special Family Pension @ Rs.7000/- w.e.f. 1.1.2006 will not be affected by this order)

if ors are getting 3510 for 100 percent disability,what is the benefit of this order or is this for pb4 generals ?
